Until we meet, again!
Lastly, here are some Formal tidbits, my Philosophy, Peer reviews & Less formal details about myself.
–
The Formal:
Sr. Art director, able to guide & push the visual arts for one or multiple products in development simultaneously.
I excel where the creative ideas, budgets & people intersect in making the visually pleasant product(s) while balancing realistic delivery dates & expectations.
I’m an open minded spirit who foster equality & transparent communications, where everyone can be themselves, affect change & have fun at work, while inspiring teams in delivering their best artistic results.
I can see the big picture, technically savvy & can describe the art/technical reasons with a programming and/or a tech art team effectively.
A mixture of art manager, Visual guidance provider & being hands-on, I elevate the career goals & hopes of all digital artists in all art disciplines, while guiding their journeys with positive present & future opportunities.
I evangelize the team’s efforts, milestone achievements & visuals they create, while supporting each individual achievements daily.
I’m continuously refining my style of leadership, learning new tricks, software & play as many videogames as possible

My philosophy
1. Trust, Transparency and Honesty.
2. Have a holistic view of the art team.
Don’t micromanage but give ownership, make it safe to fail.
Know your top “Movers/Shakers” (Top skilled employee) & delegate to them accordingly.
Anyone can affect changes.
3. The Game is first
Align the team’s goals with the project, if the gameplay targets are solved first.
Doing so leaves more chances to influence another department upwardly with art or it may add time for final art polish.
4. Be nimble & flexible.
Small team with large output, creates a “high flying” culture.
Surround yourself with skilled versatile talents & they will rise to any occasions.
5. Lead by example
Be flexible, versatile & open.

Learnings
Nothing is generic ” Every asset has a story to tell “.
Art is an expression that needs to fit within a timeline.
If you believe & act on it, the team will follow.
Be positive, respectful & always genuine.
Talk early, talk often, but don’t forget to” Listen & Wait.”
Context is key, actionable focused feedback or discussions will get results
Involve the team in the art creation process with daily alignments.
Give clear examples, tests for easy understanding & gain consistent results.
Can an art solution found, help another projects/team?
Ability to explain the special sauce simply, what is the tone & how to make it?
High impact/Low-cost art opportunities are gems.
